Kiwanis Park

Venturing to every part of the length of Pottersburg Creek from Dundas Street to Pottersburg Park at the Thames River, Kiwanis Park is a standout amongst Argyle’s most astonishing spaces.  The area is a beautified wide-open landscape that is home to play areas, nature’s finest tree stands, a beautiful walk path curtained with shades of large trees and even a cool skate park. This skateboard plaza covers approximately 1700 square meters and is geared towards beginner and intermediate skaters. The park is exceptionally well kept and furnishes the needs of the elderly and children alike. Kiwanis has a little something to offer for everybody.

While yet being connected with the city, the proximity of the area to the highway gives snappy access in and out. Since Argyle Park is situated over a critical territory, there is easy availability of resources within the area. The park is surrounded by amusing and modern retail and business adventures. The entire area echoes a sense of community and it is an important characteristic of the space.

The park is a serene open space on its own and hosts many events all around the year like outdoor movie night programs. Kiwanis Park is a gardener’s paradise and is one of the 17 community gardens across London. The new community garden at Kiwanis Park was officially opened on June 28, 2018. The park opened numerous doors for the residents, including access to healthy and low-cost food, healthy physical activity, greener surroundings and building meaningful relationships all along the process! The community garden within the park facilitates affordable gardening for the people. These bring together the residents and the neighbourhood of the area to make memories that will leave imprints for a lifetime.
